Game 1 - Chicago 1 Cincinnati 9

In Game one of the world series it was obvious that some of the White Sox were not playing their best. Pitcher Eddie Cicotte hit the first batter of the Series to confirm the fix was a go. Another supspicious event happened in the fourth inning, when Cicotte gave up three straight hits, and including a two out triple to the opposing pitcher. He was replaced that very inning. He got paid $10,000 dollars for that game one outing.

Game 2 - Chicago 2 Cincinnati 4

The second game of the series was an odd one. The White Sox actually had more hits than the Reds. They out hit them ten to four, but lost the game four to two. Although it seems like the White Sox tried their best in this game, they struggled in key situations mightily.

Game 3 - Chicago 3 Cincinnati 0

Dickey Kerr, an up and coming rookie for the White Sox got the start for the thrid game of the series. He pitched a great game with only three hits allowed, and did not take part in the fix.

Game 4 - Chicago 0 Cincinnati 2

Game 5 - Chicago 0 Cincinnati 5

In both games 4 and 5 the White Sox got destroyed by the Cincinnati Reds. Getting shut out both games at the plate, and committing a total of five errors. The White Sox never did anything to win the game, they just went through the motions for games 4 and 5.

Game 6 - Chicago 5 Cincinnati 4

Although the White Sox committed three errors in this game, they were able to pull it out in order to make the series look legitamite.

Game 7 - Chicago 4 Cincinnati 1

Cincinnati did not help themselves in this game. They committed four errors and allowed ten White Sox hits. Another game that the White Sox won in order to make it look like they tried.

Game 8 - Chicago 5 Cincinnati 10

The last game of the series was not even a contest. In the first inning Cincinnati scored 5 runs on Lefty Williams. Williams reportedly was threatened the night before the game by gamblers. The gamblers were going to kill his wife if the game wasn't in doubt a loss in the first inning. Lefty didn't dare risk his wifes safety.

Cincinnati Won in 5 games to 3.

The World Series back in 1919 was a 9 game format. The first to win five games won the series.
